Courchevel 1300 - Le Praz
Courchevel 1300, also known as Le Praz, is one of four villages in the Courchevel ski resort. Unlike the other villages, Le Praz has a substantial permanent-resident population, but it is very welcoming to visitors and offers elaborate chalets for holidays. Most popular for its skiing, winter sports are very popular here. The village is home to the annual Ski Jumping World Cup and hosts a ski-jumping hill built for the 1992 Olympics.
Ski season runs from December to April.
